Overlooked Cats: Leicestershire

Hello there, my name is Tilly. I wonder if you could be the one to make my dreams come true and offer me a home? I am 6 years old, neutered and was living with other cats but became increasingly stressed by them and began over grooming. I am currently taking medication to help calm my skin but the hope is that it won't be a long term thing and that once I am in a home where I can be the only cat, my grooming issues will stop. I am a people loving cat, so would be a good companion. I have been an indoor cat but am confident enough that I would probably enjoy a catio or cat secure garden. Obviously I want to be the only cat in my new home; I could live with children over 12 who are cat savvy, but would prefer no dogs either. At the moment, I am a little bit portly, shall we say, so I will need support with my weight loss in my new home; I am working at getting my weight down already but it will be a long term thing. Hello, my name is Tom. I arrived at the rescue with my brother from a home where un-neutered cats had been left to breed and when that resulted in too many kittens, we were handed over. I was about 6 months old and underfed when I arrived, we had to scramble and fight for the food that was put down, I still tend to gobble my food down as quickly as I can. I have been here for a while now, I am 13 months old, have grown plenty and have been neutered. Jerry found his people and I have my paws crossed that my turn will come along soon. My start meant that I am very nervous and it has taken a lot of time and patience to find my purr; I will ask for fusses but quickly get overstimulated and will try to bite. I am hoping that you will know how to handle a cat like me, it may settle down with time, but I am looking for a home with no children. I did share space with Jerry, but we also fought a bit, so I am not sure if I want to share with other pets. If you are looking for an intelligent (and exceedingly handsome) cat in your life and can manage my foibles, please get in touch and see if we could be a perfect match.
