Rescue Cat Sooky from Cats Protection, Stranraer & District, needs a homeHello, my name's Sooky. I came into Cats Protection's care after my owner sadly passed away. I'm a sweet black 11 year old lady who would enjoy a quiet home with plenty of soft furnishings to chooze and snooze on. I'm very affectionate - I love to spend time lap sitting and just being around you. I also enjoy a bit of my own space and am happy to watch from a distance after I've lavished you with a very affectionate greeting. I might enjoy short visits to a safe garden, but will need good access to get back inside. A retired couple or single person who have a calm household would be ideal. I really live up to my name and am a very snugly cat. I suffered with a flea infestation on arrival, causing hair loss and skin sores. After one application of the vet approved flea controller, I have improved after 2 weeks and am now on my way to a full recovery. My next owner will need to be sure regular flea treatments are kept up to date to prevent another infestation occuring.

Rescue Cats Gaia & Duffy, Cats Protection - Stranraer & District, Wigtownshire needs a homeHello, I’m Duffy and I’m here with my sister Gaia to find ourselves a quiet new home with a safe garden. We’re a pair of 11 year old girls who are tortie and white and have been neutered. We sadly found ourselves in the position of needing a new home when our elderly owner was taken into care, we’re hoping to find someone as lovely as he was. We’ve been together all our lives and are looking for a home where we can stay together. We were briefly homed to a lovely family but they had other cats and a dog and we really didn’t get on with either the dog or the cats, so we decided that our new home would have no other pets! We used to enjoy the visits of our owner’s grandchildren and wouldn’t mind if our new home had children. I’m quite adventurous and enjoy going off exploring while Gaia is more of a couch potato and lazier (she’s not as trim as me and a bit heavier!) We both enjoy getting a bit of attention though and are gentle, friendly and affectionate. Do you think you might have the kind of home we’re looking for? We can’t wait to meet you!
