Rescue cat Bonnie from Cats Protection - Stranraer & District, needs homeHello my dears, I'm Bonnie and I have been in rescue a while now. No one knows why, as I'm an affectionate and loving girl keen to be a companion again. Let me tell you a wee bit about myself... I'm about 1 year old, neutered, and I love to give and get affection with humans. I don't like to be excluded from parts of the house. Especially the bedroom, where I like nothing better than to snuggle in with my human for a cuddle! I can be a little timid with new situations, so gentle introductions will help me. But once established I'm a bundle of fun, full of character and play, very affectionate and also gentle. I have never scratched or bitten, even in play. I'd like some access to a safe space outdoors and would prefer a family with slightly older children who are gentle with me. I'm quite sociable with other cats too so maybe a friend of a similar temprament would be nice. The rescue people think I would make a charming addition to a lovely cat-loving household. So please have a think about making me a part of your life. A purry cuddly one!

Rescue cat Tia, from CP Stranraer, needs a home.Hi, my name is Tia and I am 4 year old neutered girl. I am a very pretty cat, with unusual brown and white, fluffy fur. I am looking for a very quiet settled home, as a house cat. I sadly lost my sight, due to a condition known as retinal atrophy, but I can manage well in the right situation. I would suit a home, ideally with a lady owner, who has limited clutter around, and who keeps the furniture in much the same position, so that I don’t get confused, and it’s easy for me to get around the house. However, I wouldn’t mind living with a gentleman, who is a like-minded soul, or a retired couple. I would not cope with a family situation, where there is a lot more movement around the house. A small, one level home would be ideal. The icing on the cake would be a conservatory to sunbathe in, but be safe indoors at the same time, that would be my dream home. I have adapted very well to my pen, here at the rescue, and found my favourite place to sit. I can be nervous in new situations, but once I feel safe, I am a very gentle, and affectionate girl. Everyone who has interacted with me are charmed straight away. I would make a lovely companion cat.  Apart from being blind, I am otherwise in very good health. The vets can't envisage me needing any treatment in the future, as regards my retinal condition.
