Rescue Cat Minty from Burton Joyce Cat Rescue, Nottingham, needs a homeHey folks, I’m Minty the Mystery Cat! I’m afraid I can’t share too many details about my past but I can tell you that I’m a tabby and white neutered female around four years old. I don’t have a tail, whether this was from birth or losing it later in life I’m not telling! I was living as a stray in some bushes but when they were cleared I had to find somewhere else to live and I found a friendly person who fed me and looked after me but when she was going away for Christmas she didn’t want to leave me with no one to look after me so the rescue took me in. Now I'm on the lookout for a home where I can build the rest of my story, though I'd like access to outdoors so I can retain a bit of my mystery! I’m a fussy and friendly girl with a lovely nature, I’m okay with other cats but don’t think I’d like to live with young children. If I’ve perked your interest then please do get in touch with the rescue (they prefer emails where possible).

Rescue cat Miss Hubbard from Burton Joyce Cat Rescue, Nottingham, needs a home Hello, my name is Miss Hubbard aka Hubby and I'm a gorgeous brindle tortie. I'm about 10 years old and am neutered and microchipped. I was brought into the rescue having been found trapped in a cupboard by the new owner of a house she had just moved into. I was very thin and hungry but grateful to be found! Since I've been at the rescue the vet is very pleased with my progress as I've gained 1.3kg and am eating well. Due to my traumatic experience of being abandoned and shut in a cupboard I am, quite understandably, a little nervous of things I'm unsure of. I am a lovely cat and have been someones pet before. Sadly, as I am an older cat I will struggle to find a new home but I'm really hoping that there is a kind hearted person out there reading this who would like to offer me a loving home. I am able to live with dogs and cats. In fact, I recently spent a very enjoyable afternoon playing with a Cockerpoo called Maud. I'm a lovely little cat and I would be delighted to find warm and loving humans to call my own, so please get in touch. Oh, and the rescue would prefer if you could send an email to enquire, if possible, as the rescue is run by volunteers so it is not always possible to answer the phone.

Rescue Cat Leana from Life for Cats, Grantham, needs a homeWell hello there, I’m Leana. I’m a beautiful female Brown Marbled Savannah of approximately 6 years old. I was previously a breeding queen but have now retired and am on the lookout for my forever home. As the rescue will tell you, I’m a lovely sweet natured girl who just loves to play, I'm happy to live with other cats and would love to have access to outdoors. I do suffer from IBS so my food intake will need to be monitored. I’m neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and just ready to meet my new family, could that be you?

Rescue Cat Theodora, Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham needs a homeHello, my name’s Theodora and as you can see, I’m a beautiful, black and white girl who’s only 18 months old. I came in to the rescue with my feral mum and younger brothers when we were all spotted living outside in the cold. I’m a shy, quiet lass who likes her own space. I have heard about loving, forever homes though and think I’d quite like to try one of those. I’m looking for someone who can help me to continue building my confidence. I have gained a lot of confidence already and with the help of my fosterers am getting used to human contact. I prefer you holding your hand below my head so that I can see it and come to you and if you talk gently to me, I have times where I feel brave enough to come and give you head rubs and purrs. I’m looking for a quiet home with no children or other pets. I’m due to be neutered and will be vaccinated, microchipped and treated for worms and fleas. If you think you’ve got lots of tender loving care, patience and would love to help me, please get in touch?

Rescue Cat Ebony, Kirkby Cats Home, Kirkby-in-Ashfield needs a homeHello, my name’s Ebony and as you’ll probably have guessed from the name, I’m a gorgeous black cat! I’m 5 years old and neutered and when I first arrived here, I was a bit on the wild side and it was thought I was destined for life as a farm cat. My life took a bit of a different turn though when I caught flu and everyone thought I wouldn’t pull through - I showed them though and pulled through to be bigger and healthier than before! I was nursed up at the house and never quite made it back to the pens! Although I love it here, I’d like a family and home (with a garden!) to call my own. I’m a girl who knows her own mind and like to live life as I please, I do like a fuss and will ask for it but equally so, will let you know when I’ve had enough! I keep the other cats and dogs in check here and have no problems living with them. If you like cats who are quirky, charismatic and like giving a chance to the overlooked - I could be the cat for you!! I’ll be waiting to hear from you...

Rescue cat Timmy from Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham needs homeI've been waiting over a year... Please pick me! Hi there! my name is Timmy and I’m around 3-4 years old. Well what can I say about myself other than I’m a relaxed, quite lazy and lovable boy!
My fosterers try to encourage me to play, and they’ll succeed for a few minutes, but then I just want to lie down and have a quick cat nap. That’s my perfect life really, eat and sleep, sleep and eat….what’s not to enjoy about that? I am a very friendly cat and enjoy a good fuss around my head and chin, I wouldn’t call myself a lap cat though, unless I’m after my food. When I’m hungry I like to remind you that I’m hungry….I do like my food and I’m not a fussy eater at all. I will even sometimes come and nibble your arm as a friendly reminder it’s dinner time. My fosterers describe me as a very cute, very friendly cat. Anyway - I have also been neutered so I'm ready to go and be someone's lovely companion.
