Rescue cat Byron from Kirkby Cats Home, Nottingham, needs a homeHello, my name is Byron. I have had other names you know, this one came about because I was found in the garden of a house that used to belong to some chap named Byron and I kind of like it, so there we are. I am a neutered, friendly, black and white lad, I am an older lad, no one is sure how old because I have no teeth left.  A lovely person found me sheltering there but he couldn't let me stay, so he found these chaps to help me find a home of my very own and everyone is trying their hardest and keep telling me that someone out there will fall in love with me. I am hoping to find a human pal to watch tv and sit with, someone who will give me the odd treat and fatten me up a bit. I spoke to a vet type person and they said that I have hyperthyroidism but it is kept in check with medicine. I know it sounds a bit rough, older lad, no teeth, hyperthyroid, but all I want is someone to love me and want me to be their best friend.

Rescue cats Mitch & Stitch, from Burton Joyce Cat Welfare, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, need a homeHi there, my name is Mitch (I am the handsome grey lad) and that is my best bud, and yes he is handsome too, Stitch. We are both 8 years old and neutered and we have found ourselves in need of a new home due to illness. We were family pets who were abandoned and then we found someone who was ready to care for us but life didn't work out for us; but at least this time we are safe at the rescue, rather than fending for ourselves - our only hope is that this time our home will be forever. We could happily live with other cats and would like a garden to explore, once we are settled in. If you have a spot in your heart that can only be filled by two lovely lad then make sure to get in touch.

Rescue cat Timmy from Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham needs homeHi there! my name is Timmy and I’m around 3-4 years old. Well what can I say about myself other than I’m a relaxed, quite lazy and lovable boy!
My fosterers try to encourage me to play, and they’ll succeed for a few minutes, but then I just want to lie down and have a quick cat nap. That’s my perfect life really, eat and sleep, sleep and eat….what’s not to enjoy about that? I am a very friendly cat and enjoy a good fuss around my head and chin, I wouldn’t call myself a lap cat though, unless I’m after my food. When I’m hungry I like to remind you that I’m hungry….I do like my food and I’m not a fussy eater at all. I will even sometimes come and nibble your arm as a friendly reminder it’s dinner time. My fosterers describe me as a very cute, very friendly cat. Anyway - I have also been neutered so I'm ready to go and be someone's lovely companion.

Rescue cat Baxter from Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham, needs a homeHello, my name is Baxter and I am around 6 years old and have been neutered. As you can see I am a sleek black cat, sadly that means that I am less likely to be chosen - I don’t see what my fur colour has to do with it, surely it should be about how fantastic I am! I am a lovely and affectionate lad, I become even more affectionate around dinner times, I am fairly sure it makes sure dinner is on time. When I was found I was suffering with cat flu, it has cleared now but I have been left with runny eyes, easily cleaned with a tissue, and means that I can’t be homed with another cat so as not to pass it on; I am fine to go outdoors though and would like to explore. If you need a loving lad in your life purr-lease do get in touch and let me wow you with my magical personality.
