Overlooked Cats: West Yorkshire

Hello there; my name is Woodie, I am a male tabby cat, here at the rescue with my sister, Jessie. We are 10 years old, neutered and have had a major upheaval as our owner had to go into care and we are now living at the rescue. We are a little bewildered and can be shy upon first meeting people, especially given the new surroundings. We are looking for a home where we can be the king and queen of the castle; we aren't used to other cats or dogs. We are also looking for a home with no young children; Jessie, especially, likes to do her own thing and while I am more confident than she is, I quite like the quiet life too. One more thing is that we are indoor cats and are very content that way, we don't have the street smarts to be outside. Oh hello. Are you looking for a beautiful little tortie lass and have plenty of patience in your heart? My name is Patch and I am around 8 months old. I am a shy lass at the moment; the rescue believe that with the right person I will develop my confidence and begin to shine. I have been neutered and have been thinking about the type of home I want; ideally, no dogs but I could share with other cats. I think a quieter home would be best for me, and so a home that will show me plenty of patience would be wonderful. Good day to you, could you be just the one we are looking for? We are Celia and Cedric, bonded 5 month old siblings. We arrived in rescue at just 6 weeks old and with horrific eye infections; Cedric's eyes cleared but one of mine couldn't be saved and so it was removed, so as to make me more comfy and it hasn't slowed me down at all. Cedric and I are both a little shy when we first meet new people, I will come around fairly quickly and enjoy fusses and cuddles; Cedric is more reserved and relies on me, he takes his time to get to know people and find his feet, so a little patience for him would be just perfect. We are hoping to find a quiet home, no children or dogs for us please? We could share with other cats, but mostly we need a guardian who will give us the time we need to flourish. I've been waiting over a year... Please pick me! Hello there, my name is Alicia. I have my paws crossed that you might be the one for me? I am a bit of a shy girl at first, but given a little time to get to know you I am happy to allow head rubs and strokes - now there is a caveat to this, you must be prepared to continue until I get bored (which is likely to be quite some time after you do!) I arrived with my 5 babies and have been a fantastic mother to them; don't worry, I will be neutered before heading to my forever home; while my little family is the best thing ever, I am done adding to the feline population. At the moment I am hoping to find an indoor home, where I can build my confidence; I could happily live with other cats but I am not too sure about sharing with dogs or children, but you could always talk to the rescue if you can't live without me and have them. So, what do you think? I sound pretty purr-fect don't I, don't take too long to pick me will you?
