Rescue cat Ricky from Cat Rescue, Chippenham, needs a homeHello, my name is Ricky. I'm a handsome black cat. I'm male, about 10 years old and am neutered. I was found in a terrible state and taken to the vet. I am blind, and possibly deaf and am FIV positive. I have had to had teeth removed at the vet, but since I have I'm doing so much better. I'm able to eat my food, and boy is it good! I also have to take medication to keep my blood pressure stable. Now I know how hard it is going to be for me to find a loving new home, but I truly hope that there is someone special out there who might be able to help me? I will happily sit on your lap, although I don't react to your presence like other cats due to my lack of senses. A home with a safe garden would be lovely for me. I'd prefer a home without other animals and without children please. Cat Rescue will pay for my blood pressure medication and any further tests needed to monitor this condition. I hope my special human is out there, as I truly deserve to find a loving new home. Rescue cats Alex & Trixie from Cat Rescue,Chippenham, needs homeHello, I'm Alex - the tabby girl, and my little friend here is Trixie. She's about a year old and I'm 8 months old. We are pen-mates here so would like a home together if possible. We are both from tough backgrounds which have made us shy and scared. So we are looking for a special human to consider taking us on and giving us a chance to settle down somewhere. I was born to a feral mum who was caught for neutering. I'm shy but have shown signs that with time, patience and loads of love I will come round as I'll tolerate being stroked. Pretty little Trixie came from a farm where she was in danger of being attacked by the farm dogs.  She had kittens but only one survived and was taken to another rescue group.Trixie is very scared but in her pen will tolerate being stroked only giving a small token hiss.  With time and patience the rescue people are convinced she too will relax. If someone was kind enough to take us both they would need to have lots of time to spend with us trying to gain our confidence with patience.  We would need to be kept as indoor cats for the forseeable future because if we were let out too soon we might be too scared to come back in. Somewhere out there, there will be a person that hasn't stopped reading by now. If thats you, please have a little think about taking on this challenge. We are spayed, microchipped flea and worm treated.  Thank you for reading.
