Rescue cat Hermione, from Cats in Distress, Frome, needs a homeHi there, my name's Hermione - it's lovely to meet you! I'm a recent mum, having given birth to my litter of kittens while roughing it living under a garden shed. You might think this would have affected by parenting, but my beautiful kittens have grown up fit and healthy and are ready for their own lives now. I am just starting to get used to having all this free time on my paws, and so would love a human to call my own that can make a fuss over me and give me all the affection I can handle. I am only three years old and have the most wonderful fur colouration and markings - unlike many other cats in the neighbourhood! I enjoy rubbing up against people's legs and making my presence felt, and love to sit and watch the world go by out of the window. I would need a home with access to the outside as I do love to explore, but have been microchipped, vaccinated and will have been neutered by the time I am adopted. If you think you can give me a nice, friendly home to recover from the exertions of motherhood, please come and visit me soon!

Rescue cat Ricky from Cat Rescue, Chippenham, needs a homeHello, my name is Ricky. I'm a handsome black cat. I'm male, about 10 years old and am neutered. I was found in a terrible state and taken to the vet. I am blind, and possibly deaf and am FIV positive. I have had to had teeth removed at the vet, but since I have I'm doing so much better. I'm able to eat my food, and boy is it good! I also have to take medication to keep my blood pressure stable. Now I know how hard it is going to be for me to find a loving new home, but I truly hope that there is someone special out there who might be able to help me? I will happily sit on your lap, although I don't react to your presence like other cats due to my lack of senses. A home with a safe garden would be lovely for me. I'd prefer a home without other animals and without children please. Cat Rescue will pay for my blood pressure medication and any further tests needed to monitor this condition. I hope my special human is out there, as I truly deserve to find a loving new home. To find out about FIV: Visit Cat Chat’s FIV information page, or the FIV Owner's Club on our friendly forum. Advice & Tips on caring for a blind cat here: Caring for a blind cat. Advice & Tips on caring for a deaf cat here: Caring for a deaf cat
