Overlooked Cats: Merseyside

Hello, my name is Skimble. I'm a 6 year old, black and white, short haired boy. I have some trust issues with humans, I was left behind on a train, in my carrier and I don't know why, just that I was very scared and upset. I was taken into thee rescue and I wouldn't go near anyone for the first while and even if I did see anyone, I spat and hissed at them. With time and patience from them, biting and scratching from me, I have slowly started to trust again. I do love my food and that may be an aid to continuing the good work. I can be quite playful and enjoy catnip, tunnels, scratch posts and my furry kicker. I don't like people looming over me, I can still be wary of hands and sudden movements but if you come down to my level, I am happier. I'm looking for my special someone, someone who can give me time, space, love and patience to grow and build my trust again. If my special human can do that for me, they'll gain a chatty, purry companion who loves to lounge and sit by you and who will be your best friend if you were to happen to have any biscuits! I'm looking for a quiet, child free and pet free home. I'd like a garden in my new home too please. I've been neutered, chipped, parasite treated and given my first vaccination. Hello everyone; my name is Harriet. I am around 4 years old, but as I was found straying, that is an educated guess. I am looking for a home where I am the only pet; I am finding it all a bit tricky here because I can hear the cats behind the door and I really don't like it. I will absolutely be all the cat you need; I don't like to be left and will grab hold of my foster parents leg to try to stop her going; I need my own place to roam free and be treated like the true princess that I am. I am very friendly and lovely, but I can get a little overwhelmed at times, so I probably need someone with cat experience and who can recognise when it is all to much for me. Hello there, my name is Buster and I'm a short haired, black and white lad hoping to find someone kind out there. I'm 4 years old and I've been neutered. I was living life as a stray and was attacked by something which left me with nasty puncture wounds. A kind person took me to the vet to be cared for and then dropped me off at the rescue. I'm wary of strangers and I don't like being handled but once I've grown used to you, I become quite friendly. I'm looking to live on a farm or stables though because I don't think I'm suited to a home life. I can be a bit unpredictable because I'm wary and I can bite. So, I'm hoping someone has room on a farm or stables and wouldn't mind keeping an eye on me, having a chat to me and feeding me. Good day to you. My name is Harmony; I am a grey and white, 3 year old lass. I was straying and gave birth to my kittens in the midst of winter, thankfully another rescue managed to find them and care for them but I was too wily and wouldn't be trapped. It took a few months, but I did eventually go into the trap and I am learning about having a warm bed, regular meals and people who care. I am a shy girl and am not keen on having my picture taken; I am unsure of people until I get to know you, so I need to find a patient guardian. We are named Ruby & Rosy, we were born outside to a feral mum and have spent plenty of time here learning that humans are ok; we are still skittish with strangers but are making progress. We are quite food motivated and can be encouraged (read bribed) to spend time with people with the help of a yummy little something; having said that, we will need a patient home to help build our trust. I've been waiting over a year... Please pick me! Good day; I am the very handsome Pickles, I am a wonderful 10 year old, neutered, lad who had spent time as a stray, arriving at the rescue battered, bruised and bleeding. I was found by someone who knew the rescue and she offered to nurse me back to health. I was given enough TLC to make a recovery and be ready to find my forever people. I am friendly and affectionate, and will even sit on your knee, but if I get over excited or upset I can be a bit nippy, you will need to be aware of this and learn when I need space. I would settle best in a home where I can be the only pet and with no children; I would definitely like the chance to have a little explore if the mood takes me though. I have had some urinary issues in the past, inflammation and cystitis and I take supplements to help manage that; I will need you to keep an on my litter tray to make sure everything is working as it should be. If you are an experienced owner and want to give me the home I deserve, please make contact.
