Rescue cat Hugo from New Beginnings Cat Rehoming, Gateshead, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, needs a homeHi, my name is Hugo and I am a very handsome black and white lad. I am around 7 years young and am neutered. I arrived here as a stray cat and no-one ever came forward to claim me. I keep hearing about forever homes and thought I would try finding one of my own. I was found to be FIV+, which shouldn't have much of an impact on me really and I am currently very robust and healthy; you can find more information about FIV on the links below. I am a cuddle bunny, so someone who would like a cuddly companion would be perfect for me, I am wondering if you might fit the bill - what do you think?
Visit our FIV information page, or visit the FIV Owner's Club on our friendly forum.
HUGO is at New Beginnings Cat Rehoming, Gateshead. Rehoming in Northumberland, Gateshead and Newcastle. Rescue Cat Rufus from Willows Cat Adoption Centre, Tyne and Wear, needs a homeHi, I'm Rufus. I'm 3 years old, neutered, and came to Willows as a feral at 6 weeks old. Most feral kittens, if caught early enough, can turn into normal house cats. But I am still terrified of most things. Even though I have been brought up in a busy house, if anyone comes to visit I run upstairs to hide. I’ve learnt to trust my foster humans and love my strokes first thing on a morning, but I’m still a very independent soul. It would take a very very patient human to build up my trust. Food is the way to my heart and I may sneak a chip or sausage off your plate when you're eating. I would like to live indoors and would not like to live with children, dogs, or other cats.
RUFUS is at Willows Cat Adoption Centre, South Shields. Rehoming in Co.Durham, Northumberland & Tyne & Wear. To make an enquiry, please call: 07719 605383, and please mention you saw Rufus on Cat Chat, thank you!

Rescue cat Ruby from Pawz for Though, Sunderland, Durham, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, needs a homeHello everyone, my name is Ruby and I have a fabulous, shiny black coat. I have been in rescue since the beginning of 2019 and have my paws crossed that someone will choose me soon. I am looking for a home where I can be the only cat; I am not keen on sharing my humans. I am 11 years old and am coping so much better now that I am in a foster home. I know people look at my black coat and my age and they pass me by but I would make a fabulous companion and just need someone to see me and give me a chance. I love to play; I will chase a laser pen and really enjoy all the fun of a cardboard box. I follow my foster carer everywhere and love them dearly but surely it is time for me to find my very own human and forever home. If you think you might be 'The One' for me then get in touch as soon as you can.
RUBY is at Pawz for Thought, Sunderland. Rehoming in Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and County Durham. Rescue Cat Toby, New Beginnings Cat Rehoming, Gateshead needs a homeHello, my name’s Toby and I’m a big, 7 year old, ginger and white chap, hoping someone will be kind enough to offer me a loving home. I came into the rescue as a stray and I had a bit of a facial injury but that’s healing now. I’ve also been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and have been put on a special diet. I’ve been neutered and would like to be an indoor only cat please. I need a little time to get to know new people but once I do, I’m friendly. I’m looking for a home with no children and I’d like to be your only pet please. Do you think you could find it in your heart to give me some love and a home?
