Overlooked Cats: South Yorkshire

Hello there; my name is Woodie, I am a male tabby cat, here at the rescue with my sister, Jessie. We are 10 years old, neutered and have had a major upheaval as our owner had to go into care and we are now living at the rescue. We are a little bewildered and can be shy upon first meeting people, especially given the new surroundings. We are looking for a home where we can be the king and queen of the castle; we aren't used to other cats or dogs. We are also looking for a home with no young children; Jessie, especially, likes to do her own thing and while I am more confident than she is, I quite like the quiet life too. One more thing is that we are indoor cats and are very content that way, we don't have the street smarts to be outside. Hello, I'm a little black cat called Binks. I had a very stressful start to being in the rescue and I ended up pulling out a lot of my hair because I was over grooming. I've settled in a bit now and the over grooming has stopped, my fur is growing back in nicely and I'll soon look a beautiful, sleek, black girl. What I'd really like though, is a home to call my own. I love getting cuddles and am on the look out for a comfy, cosy lap! I can live with children and I could tolerate a quiet dog but no other cats please. Good day to you, could you be just the one we are looking for? We are Celia and Cedric, bonded 5 month old siblings. We arrived in rescue at just 6 weeks old and with horrific eye infections; Cedric's eyes cleared but one of mine couldn't be saved and so it was removed, so as to make me more comfy and it hasn't slowed me down at all. Cedric and I are both a little shy when we first meet new people, I will come around fairly quickly and enjoy fusses and cuddles; Cedric is more reserved and relies on me, he takes his time to get to know people and find his feet, so a little patience for him would be just perfect. Hello, my name is Penny Black. I am a petite young lass, and a bit of a one of a kind, just like the stamp I am named after. You can respectfully call me any of the following: Mishkins, Princess Mishca or Meeeeesh! I'm a Sphynx, neutered, 3 years old - and beautiful! Just look at my majestic ears! Here’s a few of the things I’m good at: getting wrapped up in my royal attire (blankets and little jackets), eating my favourite snacks (royally sensitive snacks only for me), and demanding attention when I want it (which is like, always). I also like frequent breaks to chase my cat nip mousey toys, and you should definitely make time to wave my princess wand toy! I'm looking for an indoor home, and I'm happy to live with other cats, with dogs, and with children. I’m always a few paws behind the other cats, and I might get a little confused sometimes, but who needs brains when you’ve got looks and a purr-sonality like mine?! I’m a carrier of calicivirus, which means I have chronic flu symptoms. Currently my symptoms are quite mild - I sneeze a few times a day and would like you to wipe my nose. There are times where my symptoms can worsen and I may be very snotty. This will likely mean I will have to see the royal vet regularly for check ups. Could you offer me the palace and pampering I've been dreaming about?

Hello there, my name is Alicia. I have my paws crossed that you might be the one for me? I am a bit of a shy girl at first, but given a little time to get to know you I am happy to allow head rubs and strokes - now there is a caveat to this, you must be prepared to continue until I get bored (which is likely to be quite some time after you do!) I arrived with my 5 babies and have been a fantastic mother to them; don't worry, I will be neutered before heading to my forever home; while my little family is the best thing ever, I am done adding to the feline population. At the moment I am hoping to find an indoor home, where I can build my confidence; I could happily live with other cats but I am not too sure about sharing with dogs or children, but you could always talk to the rescue if you can't live without me and have them.
