Rescue cat Elsa from City Cat Shelter, Brighton , needs homeHi there, I'm Elsa and I'm about 1 year old. As you can see, I'm a rather pretty (if I say so myself) tortoiseshell girl. Now I'm what they call 'a character' as I have plenty of sass. What this means in cat terms is that while I like to be stroked on my head and body, I can sometimes lash out. Also I have had an unfortunate habit of going for feet now and again. The rescue people hope that with a consistently calm environment with no children and away from other cats (a source of stress for me), I will relax a little more. So because of this I will need a patient human who likes to wear thick socks! I'm not going to be top of everyone's wish list but underneath it all, I'm just a lonely cat who wants to settle down, and I will bring my own brand of fun, laughter and affection to my new home.

Desiree and Rolo, rescue cats, from City Cat Shelter BrightonHello there! My name is Desiree and I am here with my best pal Rolo. We are two, 3 year old feral boys that came into City Cat Shelter separately, however, since being here we have teamed up, and we are now the best of buddies. We spend our days at the shelter cuddled up closely, in a cat climber, so it's almost impossible to get a good photo of us both together! In the picture, it is Rolo's ginger and white rear you can see, and my face. We need a home with no children, or other cats, and somewhere we can run wild in, such as a large garden. A farm or country home would be more than ideal for us!  We have both been neutered, and are all ready to go. If you think you have the home for us, please get in touch with the rescue soon, we really need a safe place to run around and enjoy life now.

Rescue Cat Shiloh from Cats Protection Worthing, needs a homeHello, my name is Shiloh. I'm a very handsome black cat. I'm about 9 years old and am neutered. I am looking for my new home and was really hoping you might be able to help me? I came into the rescue with my sister Jinxy. We can be homed together or separately. I'm super friendly once I get to know you, but can be a bit reserved and shy at first. I am looking for a loving human with a little patience, you'll definitely be rewarded once I realise your my best pal! I'll sit next to you purring. Oh and I quite enjoy being brushed too. I'd love access to the outdoors in my new home, and I am able to live with children. Please get in touch for more information about me. I'm a gorgeous boy and just need a little time to settle and I'll be purring away in no time.

Rescue cat Rusty from Paws & Claws Animal Rescue Service - West Sussex, needs homeHello I'm Rusty and if I was a car, my slogan would be "one careful lady owner!" Yes, since I was a lad (ok, kitten then) one kind lady was my human and I lived indoors. Sadly she passed away and at 12 years old I was made homeless and brought into rescue. So I guess I'm not everyone's cup of tea because of my age, but on the plus side I am a handsome lad, so they say! I have an independent nature and while I'm not a lap cat I like to know there's company around. Also, I was introduced to the sights and smells of outdoors and was hooked instantly! So if its not too much to ask I would like access to a safe outside space. So please say you'll have a think about making me a happy boy. I might even bring my broom and help you sweep! Oh and I am neutered.

Rescue cat Chloe from Paws & Claws Animal Rescue Service, West Sussex, needs a homeHello there, my name is Chloe. I'm a tortie and white 5 year old female cat looking for my new home, maybe you could help? I'd really love to find my very own human/s to love and adore! I've had a hard time in life so far, as sadly I lost my tail in a road traffic accident. I'd love a quiet home with access to a safe garden, and a home without children or other cats would be best. I'm not sure about dogs. Due to my previous injuries I prefer not to be picked up. I like all four paws on the ground please! I'm an adorable little cat, and although I don't like being picked up I am still an affectionate girl and am very happy to find a nice warm lap to sit on where I like to purr away. I truly deserve a warm and loving home with a future filled with happy purrs.

Rescue Cat Churchill from Celia Hammond Animal Trust Sanctuary, Hastings, needs a homeHi there, I’m Churchill a rather handsome, neutered, male, black cat. I was found and rescued from a derelict church (hence my name!) I was very scared when I was first rescued and spent a lot of time hiding but thanks to the temptation of Dreamies and realising that people can be kind and loving, I’ve come out of my shell and now I’ll even purr and meow when people come in to see me. I’d love a home of my own as I’ve got lots of love to share with my new owner. I've been checked over by the vet people though and it turns out that I have FeLV even so, I feel absolutely fine and look really happy too! The vet has said that it is likely the virus could shorten my life but I've still got lots of love to give and the rescue people would really love to see me settled in a foster home and the rescue have said that they'll provide the necessary veterinary back up. Due to having the FeLV, I’d be best being the only pet in an indoor home and no children in the home either please as I can still be a bit nervous. I’m hoping someone out there thinks they’ve got a perfect me sized hole in their life and comes to snap me up soon! If you're not sure about FeLV and would like to know more, please follow the links. Rescue cat Florrie, from Celia Hammond Animal Sanctuary, Hastings, West Kent, Sussex, needs a homeI have been waiting for over a year, please pick me! Hello there, I’m Florrie and I’m looking for a new home and just wondered whether you might have just the one I’m looking for? I’m a young tortie girl and I’ve been neutered. I love being around people, especially because not only do I get cuddles but I love playing and chase the cat nip mouse is such good fun when someone throws it or wiggles it! I also like to play with a ping pong ball, dunking it in my water bowl is such fun! Anyway, I’d be looking for a home with lots of cuddles (although I can be a bit naughty tortie sometimes and will give a bit of a swipe if I’ve had enough but it’s just a gentle one). I have bags of purr-sonality and can be a show off sometimes.  I’m best suited to a home with no other pets and no children. I’d also love a safe garden to explore. Think you could help? I’m hoping you’ll pick me and get in touch soon!
FLORRIE is at Celia Hammond Animal Sanctuary, Brede. Rehoming to areas near the Sanctuary or near our London Clinics in Canning Town and Lewisham.
