Anna’s Rescue Centre (ARC)

Cats Protection - Bridgend Adoption Centre

Based in Bridgend.  This branch has the largest purpose built adoption centre in Wales and always has cats in need of loving homes.  All cats are neutered, where old enough, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas before going to their new home; cats also have 4 weeks free pet insurance when they are adopted.  The branch also facilitate the neutering of feral colonies by lending traps and helping with the cost of neutering.

Friends of the Animals RCT

Homeless Cats Cardiff

Based in Cardiff. A small group of volunteers helping homeless cats. All cats are neutered and given any necessary veterinary treatment before rehoming. Hope Rescue

Mittens Cat Rescue

A small rescue based in the Vale of Glamorgan, specialising in mum cats, kittens & pregnant cats. All mum cats are spayed before leaving. Kittens leave with a spay contract. Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S)

Based in Porthcawl. Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.) is dedicated to helping unwanted or abandoned animals. Cats are housed in a small cattery in Bridgend and dogs are housed in kennels in Porthcawl. Animals are assessed, and home visits are made to all prospective owners. All animals are vaccinated and micro-chipped and all animals over six months are neutered or spayed. In addition to its rehoming work, PAWS also trap and neuter feral cats, prior to release into managed colonies. The charity is funded largely by a shop in Porthcawl.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
