BARKS takes in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and finds them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until new homes are found. Young kittens are only rehomed in pairs to homes with no children under 5 years. Homechecks are carried out, and animals will not be adopted to homes on busy roads. Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care.
