The Celia Hammond Animal Trust offer an extensive rehabilitation and rehoming service for stray and unwanted animals in London and throughout the South East, often having around 700 cats in their care at any one time. Could you rescue one? To help fund their three sanctuaries, CHAT sell a super range of merchandise, which is featured on their website. The Tunbridge Wells branch of the Celia Hammond Animal Trust rehomes via a series of foster homes. More homes are always needed.
Adopt a Cat: Contact the shelter as below to ask about cats needing homes.
Help! Semi-Feral Cats Needing Homes: The Trust are desperate to find homes for some of their semi-feral cats. At the last count they had over 200 semi feral cats currently in care, who need safe, understanding homes. Many will be fine in a rural or semi rural situation, such as farms, smallholdings or stables. Please call if you could offer a suitable home.
Help! Sponsors Needed: CHAT runs a sponsorship scheme for their un-homeable cats. See their web site for details of these, and much more about their sanctuaries.
Help! Volunteers Needed: Have you some spare time? Would you like to help CHAT? They would love to hear from anyone who could help out at the sanctuary, or with home-checking or fundraising.
