Rescue cat Nancy from Willows Cat Adoption Centre, South Shields, Durham, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, needs a homeHi there everyone, my name is Nancy and I am a gorgeous, calico tortie lassie, who is 8 months old. I am hoping to find a new hooman to look after me; I have had hoomans previously but they had little hoomans who terrified me, so my new home should not have any children. I am a typical cheeky young cat, I can sometimes have a mad half hour and be a tinker; I will definitely fill your home with fun and love if you think you could find a little room in your heart for me. I will most definitely be neutered before going to my forever home, you will be all the family I need.
NANCY is at Willows Cat Adoption Centre, South Shields. Rehoming in Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. To make an enquiry, please call: 07719 605383, and please mention you saw Nancy on Cat Chat, thank you!

Rescue cat Jake, from Willows Cat Adoption Centre, South Shields, needs a homeHi there! My name's Jake. I'm an extremely handsome black-and-white boy, not to mention an all-round top bloke. Four years old and I'm not modest at all, I know how brilliant I am. Having said that I don't mind sharing the love around - you'll not meet a nicer cat than me! I love attention and having a good old natter, especially when it's time for my dinner. Just thinking about dinner is making me hungry! When I'm hungry you'll definitely know about it because I'll tell you. Meow meow meow, that's what I'll say. I know when to shut up though and the best way to achieve this is by giving me food, or rubbing my chin! Once we've got to know each other would it be possible please to allow me access to your comfortable bed? I promise I don't snore and will diligently chase away any intruders and protect your life at all costs (cannot 100% guarantee I will do this if I'm sleeping or sitting very comfortably). I also need one of those magical cat portals to allow me to warp outside and sleep in patches of sun, one of my favourite pastimes! Please no alarming dog-shaped companions though, I don't like those, and I'd prefer older kids to live with as I find young children scary and unpredicatable. I am neutered, chipped and all the rest, so if you think I am the right cat for you, please get in touch - you won't regret it, I swear.
JAKE is at Willows Cat Adoption Centre, South Shields. Rehoming in Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. To make an enquiry, please call: 07719 605383, and please mention you saw Jake on Cat Chat, thank you!

Rescue Cat Chaplin from Cats Protection Wear Valley and Darlington, Durham, needs a homeHello, my name is Chaplin and I am a handsome black and white chap.  I am around 5 years old and neutered.  At the moment I can be a bit of a grump and take a swipe at you; the fantastic people here are hoping that being in a home of my own, where I can just be me and with no other pets or young children, will help me calm down and not do it. I am not going to be a cat who wants fusses for a long time, if ever and my new human will need to understand that about me. I have had a hard life, which has left me as FIV+, too many fights over girls, food and territory I’m afraid; so surely I deserve these home comforts people keep talking about.  I have my paws crossed that you will think I am just the puss for you. To find out about FIV: Visit Cat Chat’s FIV information page, or the FIV Owner's Club on our friendly forum.

Rescue Cat Binksy from Pawz for Thought, Sunderland, needs a homeHi there, my name’s Binksy and I’m a lovely little, black and white girl, 10 years old and I’m hoping to find someone who can help me out. I’ve unfortunately found myself in care as the circumstances changed with my last owner and I found myself as part of a multi cat household. I was really struggling living there, I like to be the only cat (I’m not sure about dogs either!) I have to say, I’m feeling a wee bit out of sorts as my world’s been turned upside down with all the changes! I’m a friendly girl though and I do like to pop out of my wee house to greet anyone who comes to visit and even better if they give me a head rub - I really enjoy those. I’ve been neutered and am crossing my paws here that someone falls in love with me and picks me for their very own!

Rescue cat Pixie from Consett Cats, Consett, Durham, needs a homeI've been waiting over a year... Please pick me! Hello everybody, my name is Pixie. I am 2 years old, neutered, and a gorgeous tortie and white girl; I have found myself searching for my forever home. You can often find me playing with the kittens at the rescue; I had to grow up too soon as I was a mum at a young age, so everyone here thinks I am making up for lost time. I am friendly and will let you stroke me, but I find new people and new situations a bit frightening, so I will hide away; I am hoping to find new humans who will need to understand that I may well take time to settle in anywhere. I would happily live with other cats; I haven’t had much to do with dogs, so I am not sure whether I could live with them and I think an adult only home would be best for me. If you think you could give me the chance to be your furry friend, please get in touch as soon as you can.
