Overlooked Cats: Durham

How do you do, we are Chord, Drummer, Riff & Reed, a little band of brothers if you like. We are all looking for homes; preferably in pairs, but would be overjoyed if we could all stay together, as we all love each other so much; in fact, we can often be found in a full cuddle puddle involving us all. Riff and Reed are a little shyer than Chord and I, but we will all accept strokes. As boisterous chaps we will need plenty of indoor space, so that we can be safe while exploring and learning what home life is like. Once we are settled into our new home(s) we are sure that we will each blossom into cuddly and affectionate lads. We could live with children over the age of 10 and will all be neutered before moving in with or new guardians. Hi everyone, I'm Juno! I'm a short haired, tabby girl of 1 year. I'm looking for a new home and hoping I catch someone's eye (and heart!) I was feral when found and was a bit hissy! But, with time and patience, I have blossomed into a little sweetheart, with a tendency to be a bit cheeky at times! I can sometimes be a bit skittish and of course, I will need some time to get to know my new owner but, I'm really looking forward to finding my new home and settling in. I'm looking for an indoor home with no children please. I could live with other cats once I've got to know them. I'm not sure about dogs but if you had a quiet, cat friendly dog, you could always check with the people at the rescue. I've been neutered, vaccinated and will be vet checked before coming to you. Hello, I'm Bramble and I'm a little, black, short haired cat, I'm around 8 years old and have been neutered. I'm a gentle, kind chap but a bit on the timid side. I've been learning to trust while in the rescue and I've discovered that I adore being stroked! I started off hiding in my den when I first arrived but with patience and care, I now jump up on a lap to ask for love and I've even been bold enough to ask for more if I feel I'm not getting enough! I'm looking for someone patient and kind, someone who will show me understanding and go at my pace so that I can flourish. I do have Idiopathic cystitis (inflammation of the bladder) and sometimes it flares up; I am on urinary food and only need a short course of anti inflammatory medicine and then I'm fine again. I also have a wee mouth problem, so I have a steroid injection every so often. I think I'd be best in a quiet, adult only home. Maybe with a maximum of 2 adults and no other pets. Once I've settled in with you, I think that I might want a garden to have an explore of on fine days. I've been waiting over a year... Please pick me! How do you do? My name is Squid. I am a 2 year old lass and I have been here for almost 2 years now after arriving as a heavily pregnant lass. I had 4 kittens, who I raised well and they found their forever homes some time ago; as I was semi feral I have taken a lot longer to get used to being a people cat. My foster family have worked so hard and while I don't like to be picked up or handled, I am calm and content and my family see that in the right home I could even become a lap cat - as long as it is all on my terms! With the right people I will show my loving side; you would just need to be very, very patient with me. I just had a dental and most of my teeth removed, I am now the proud owner of just 4 teeth, not that it stops me eating, there is nothing I can't handle. Hello, my name's Bronson and I'm hoping to find my forever home. I'm a 1 year old, black and white, short haired boy. I've been neutered, chipped, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. I have to admit that I'm a bit of a bully with the other cats and behave a bit like a naughty teenager really! I came in with another two cats, Bindi and Daisy and I adored them and was guided by them which goes to show I can be nice! Maybe a friendly female cat would be nice to have. I don't want to live with a dog though. I have started coming forward for attention and enjoy a stroke on my terms but I think I'm best with no children.. I've been waiting over a year... Please pick me! How do you do? My name is Pudding, I am a shy and gentle lad looking for someone to love me. I am almost 2 years old and have already spent over a year of my life in rescue; I am scared of unexpected noises and like my routine, so probably don't push forward as much as other cats. Once I know and trust people I really quite like a chin tickle and a stroke. I do tend to hiss when I am frightened, it is not aggressive, not sure I could be that way even if I tried, a hiss is all I have when worried. I am very much a modern lad, I enjoy spending my down time watching cat videos on TV and will have a funny 5 minutes chasing a laser pointer. I love other cats and would love to share with others, rather than be an only cat; but would prefer no young children or dogs. I am a house cat and content with it, but if you had a catio for sunny days, I would be over the moon. If you can offer me my dreams, please get in touch.
