We are thrilled to report that Shadow found her perfect new home, within a mile of her existing abode, via Cat Chat! On behalf of Shadow, her late owner's grand-daughter and all at Twilights, we thank you for making this possible. Sadly, Shadow's owner was laid to rest, leaving her little cat all on her lonesome. At the grand age of 18, and with black fur, many people regarded Shadow as being too old and impossible to rehome. Shadow can be a little reserved with new people, but once she gets to know you, she loves a fuss and has been a devoted feline companion.
Twilight Cats Senior Rescue, Evesham
Felix & Daisy, a bonded pair of 12 year old golden oldies, were homed through Cat Chat - thank you very much. Felix is the white and black dapper gentleman and sister Daisy is a stunning lady and proud member of the Panthers. They had a home where they were both loved and adored until their fabulous human sadly passed away. They were both left devastated and heartbroken and never thought that they'd be in a rescue centre. It’s really hard to be pulled from a loving home to living in a pen! They are both absolute sweethearts and love love and affection. They like to potter around in the garden but wouldn't go far. They both love a good snooze and fleece blankets. They just wanted a loving home and would be no bother at all.
Friends of Felines, Halstead
Yay - more exciting news: a lovely lady saw Boo on Cat Chat and fell in love with him. Boo is an extremely gentle 11 year old boy who has never shown any aggression. Once he gets to know you he is a real fuss monkey, a soppy lil guy who loves to be stroked and have his head and ears tickled. He is not good with small children but ok with older children as long as they are not frantic and loud. He could tolerate living with another cat and/or a dog as long as they are calm. He needed access to outside as he loves hunting, climbing trees and lazing in the sun. He is now in his new home!
Feline Network Cat Rescue, Paignton
11-year-old Tiger was offered a home after being spotted on our Cat Chat page. She can be quite shy in new environments with new people, however once settled she knows how to make herself at home, spending most of the time snoozing or giving cuddles. She's spent most of her life indoors and as an only pet and it was preferable for this to continue.
Caring Animal Rescue, Stafford
Beautiful Luna has been homed thanks to Cat Chat. Ten-year-old Luna just wants love, bed and food. Now she has filled out after her awful experiences as an abandoned cat, she is looking really well with a lovely coat and a nature to match. She may want to go out when settled but certainly happy to be in.
Ryedale & Scarborough Cat Welfare, Scarborough
Beautiful 13-year-old sisters Amber and Sunshine have been rehomed, after being seen on Cat Chat. The girls had a wonderful home when we first heard about them and were really loved to bits. However, the owner's circumstances were no longer suitable for them to live a good life. She wanted the best for them so, though it was with great reluctance, she knew she had to part with them. These beautiful girls do have really delightful personalities. They are friendly and really affectionate, very loving generally and just adore human company. In time, the most wonderful lady offered them a home. It couldn't be a better home and their new owner is experienced, caring and full of love for her new friends. The girls are absolutely adored by another loving owner and we hope they enjoy many happy and healthy years together. Thank you again Cat Chat for all that you do.
Lancashire Paws Cat Rescue, Bolton
15 year old Bandit has an ideal home thanks to Cat Chat This darling most affectionate golden oldie’s owner had moved into a nursing home. Bandit is as sweet as can be - a real 'people cat' and a companion cat par excellence. She has so much love to give. With her striking markings she's a real head turner. Bandit would be an ideal friend to a more home-based cat lover/s, and would probably enjoy the company of another older gentle puss as her brother died recently and she missed him a lot. She needed access to safe outdoor space to explore, but is likely to be too happy enjoying the comforts of domestic life (and a lap) to venture far. She is a sturdy girl and in seems in good health. It was well worth the wait for Bandit.
Mitzi's Kitty Corner, Totnes
Lovely golden oldie Abbie has now been rehomed after being spotted on Cat Chat. She is around 12 years old, a very gentle little love bug who just wants a lap to curl up on, but also still has plenty of energy to play.
Furry Tails Feline Welfare, Blackpool
Eleven-year-old pretty Honey was homed through Cat Chat. Unfortunately, due to the situation of her elderly female owner, Honey found herself needing a new home rather late in life. Shy when she arrived, Honey now purrs loudly and loves to give and receive affection.
Little Cottage Rescue, Luton
Sweet Daisy, 19, is a very loving gentle girl but not in great health and needs a special diet. So happy to let you know that a lovely, kind home has been found for her, just in time as her owner was moving abroad so she could leave the country feeling assured that Daisy would have as bright a future as she is able. Thank you so much for featuring her and you will be pleased to know that you have had another triumph: The couple offering her a home came upon her picture on your site. Many many grateful thanks.
Mitzi’s Kitty Corner, Totnes
Pongo was homed with Cat Chat's help. Thank you so much. Purrrrfect Pongo, 15 years old, was found after his hoomans moved home and left him behind. He was looking for a special quieter home where he could live his remaining years being spoiled rotten. He's very friendly, affectionate and loves to curl up on a lap! Pongo could be very food possessive when other cats are about so he would be best being the only cat in the household. He is very loving to people and loves being brushed. He enjoys sitting in the windowsill and watching the world go by.
Cat Watch Rescue Shelter, Amesbury
13 year old ginger beauties Alfie and George have found a new home together through Cat Chat. Their owners died recently, and the boys had been looked after in their own home for a while. They love open spaces and used to roam the countryside.
Ryedale and Scarborough Cat Welfare, Scarborough
Socks & Top Cat were rehomed after being spotted on Cat Chat. Socks (11) and Top Cat (10) are mother and son who like to snuggle up together and wash each other. Unfortunately, due to their owner’s health issues, they had been looking for a new home together. Top Cat is a confident cat and loves a fuss and a lap to sit. Socks is a very calm lady who loves a sunny spot for a snooze or a warm place by a radiator, especially higher up, a windowsill or back of a chair. Thank you so much for helping them to find their perfect forever home!
Anim-mates, Sevenoaks
Marnie was rehomed via Cat Chat! Marnie came into the rescue as her owner could no longer care for her. She was a lovely black and white cat approx 15 years old. Even though Marnie was an older cat she still had a lot of love to give and lots of energy. Thank you for helping us.
Brinsley Animal Rescue, Nottingham
Beautiful Apricot, 10, was rehomed through Cat Chat. She was a lovely friendly cat, her owner was in terminal care and we had been asked to find her a loving quiet home. All she wanted to do is sleep, eat and be fussed.

Great news: We are very grateful to Cat Chat as we have found a great home for Balmie through you. Golden oldie Balmie (14) was in urgent need of rehoming as his elderly mum was going into a nursing home in a matter of weeks. He was a very loving, gorgeous friendly boy - much adored.

Hi Cat Chat, I'm pleased to report that 14 year old Amber was homed after being spotted on our Cat Chat page.
Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary, Newburgh
Our lovely 12 year old tortie who was looking for a home has just moved to her amazing new residence. We cannot thank you enough! The couple saw Tiggy on Cat Chat. She was the perfect match for their life. Unfortunately last year her owner very sadly passed away, and for a short period of time she found herself on the streets. She was a senior girl looking for lots of love who loved cuddles and company but also food!
Isle Cat Rescue, Doncaster
Just want to say a massive thank you from Albert (left) and Winnie (right) who have found a second chance in life after the death of their owner, despite being older felines, and it's all down to CatChat.
Burton Joyce Cat Welfare, Nottingham
Kitty, 15, has been homed after being spotted on Cat Chat. The poor girl had been down on her luck as of late: her owners handed her over to a veterinary surgery as they felt they could no longer care for her and, recently, our veterinarian found that Kitty had a potentially life-limiting liver condition. Needless to say this made it very difficult to find a home for this dear cat. Kitty was a beautiful cat and did not look her age at all.
Paws & Claws Animal Rescue Service, Haywards Heath
Smokey was noticed through Cat Chat. Could she have a spot on the Rehoming Roll of Honour please? Smokey is a beautiful cat who looks less than half her age. She isn't your typical "senior" cat as she loves to explore throughout the day, chasing lasers, searching for treats and getting a lot of attention and also likes to go out walking.
Moonstone Rescue, Hertford
Thanks to Cat Chat, Tammy & Kiki have now found their forever homes. Kiki (left) was a 14 year old tabby and white domestic shorthair female and Tammy (right) was Kiki’s 12 year old daughter, a domestic shorthair tortoiseshell female. Kiki and Tammy came in to the rescue as their owner was sadly having to move to a smaller property with no access to the outside. These two girls were just amazing, so sweet natured. They loved to be brushed and loved nothing more than a lap.
All Animal Rescue, Southampton
So happy to say that Dougie has now been rehomed and even happier to say that the family who adopted him saw him on Cat Chat. So thank you for all your help advertising him. Dougie was approximately 15 years old and the biggest cuddle cat ever. Due to a tumour he had a leg removed, the tumour was diagnosed as spindle cell sarcoma which is rare in cats. The tumour was of an intermediate grade and hopefully with the leg amputation Dougie should have a long life.
RSPCA Cheshire, Altrincham
Susie is a sensible, sweet, older lady who loves nothing more than a lot of attention and fusses - the person who rehomed her found us through CatChat, all the enquiries we have had about Susie have come via CatChat! We have been amazed by the amount of people who expressed an interest in her! Thank you.
Isle Cat Rescue, Doncaster
Heidi, aged 14, was just the sweetest thing ever and wanted cuddles all the time. She came into care last summer, after her elderly owner became ill. Heidi had been overlooked (or had no serious enquiries) possibly due to her age, until she was posted on Cat Chat. This is a picture of her in her new bed in her forever home. Thank you!
Miracle Helping the Madness, Manchester
13 year old Miso went to her new home which came via our Cat Chat entry. Many, many thanks.
Mitzi's Kitty Corner, Totnes
Cornelia (left), Julian (right), Orion, Geoffrey, Olaf & Mumma have all been homed via Cat Chat. Cornelia was a tortie point Ragdoll, her buddy Julius was a red point Ragdoll. They needed a new home because their owner was leaving the country. 14 year olds, in good health, vet checked indoor cats. They needed a home with older children, no other pets and someone home a lot of the time.
Friends of Felines, Halstead
Rosie was rehomed via Cat Chat. She was an incredibly gentle, affectionate and sweet-natured cat who loved to interact with people and could be quite chatty and playful at times, despite being a senior kittizen.
Anim-Mates, Sevenoaks
I found Sox on CatChat back in June 2021, and he joined the family at the end of July. Sox and his brother were found living outside when their old owners had moved away and they were fending for themselves alongside neighbours who helped feed them occasionally. Lulubells Rescue rescued them in January and placed them with an amazing fosterer. Unfortunately, Sox's brother passed away from cancer in May, leaving him alone and in need of a cat companion. I was looking for a companion cat for my girl, whose adopted brother also passed away in May. I was struggling to find a single, older, cat that could be with another cat - so hit the jackpot when i found Sox on CatChat. After a very slow introductory period, the two of them are now getting on well together and gradually getting closer each day. As you can see, he is also enjoying the garden. Thank you to Lulubells Rescue, Enfield for rescuing him.
Jo, St Albans
We saw 13 year old Rupert on Cat Chat and adopted him through Yorkshire Cat Rescue. He's made himself at home and loves to sunbathe or settle down in front of the fire. He's such a lovely character, very loud! He sits on the back of my chair and taps me on the head when he wants food or a fuss! Thanks for sharing Rupert on your site.
Cath, Keighley
Great news – 14 year old friendly boy Biscuit has now found a new home after being spotted on our Overlooked Cats listing on Cat Chat!! Thank you so much for listing him as he deserves to spend his twilight years in a loving home - I think he was only on there for a day before he was spotted! Many thanks.
Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary, Newburgh
Fourteen year old Lisette was rehomed via Cat Chat, many thanks. We were the second rescue to have taken her in; she has lived quite an active albeit sad life and now needed a well deserved retirement. Lisette longed to be in her own safe warm home, and now she can sleep, eat and be a happy pampered puss.
BJ Cat Rescue, Nottingham
We are very pleased to say that 15 year old Tali has gone to her new home after being spotted on the Overlooked Cats section. Stunning Tali came to us via the dog warden after her owner sadly passed away and she had nowhere to go. We were only too happy to help this beautiful girl. Tali is used to a quieter home, she is a shy little thing and needed an adult only home with a couple or single person who is home a lot, a nice safe enclosed garden to venture into if she wanted. Thank you so much!
Wonky Pets Rescue, Northampton
Some great news about two super seniors: Mitzi's Kitty Corner, Totnes had taken beautiful 'Golden Oldies’ Samba (15) (left) and her companion Gizzy (17) into their care, when their owner sadly died. The family had been unable to take them in because they had cats of their own. It's a heartbreaking situation. Samba & Gizzy needed to find a new cat lover who would appreciate their affection and enjoy their charm. Thankfully, this inseparable pair have now found their new forever home due to their appearance on Cat Chat.
Mitzi's Kitty Corner, Totnes
12-year-old Frazzle was rescued when she was no longer wanted by those she loved and trusted. She loves to sleep outside and really enjoys a good snooze in a sunny spot. Frazzle was rehomed through Cat Chat.
Lulubells Rescue, Enfield
Bea (left) is a very pretty young girl. She has her cuddly moments but she can be a little temperamental, so wouldn’t suit a home with children. She had the potential to live with other cats and does seem interested in the cats around her. Furball (right) is 15 years old and found herself in a shelter due to the sad loss of her owner. She chats to you and her meaning is usually clear. She isn’t keen on other cats and has a grumble at the cats around her. She’s a grumpy little old lady but a character that we love! We now have two lovely homes for these two pretty ladies and they found us through Cat Chat. Both girls are settled in their new homes.
Pawz for Thought, Sunderland
Great news - 14-year-old Blue has been homed after being spotted on our Cat Chat page - just 24 hours after he was listed! Thanks, as always, for your help.
