Animal Support Volunteers

Based in Macclesfield, covering Cheshire. The volunteers provide care and shelter to animals in need, mainly cats, and often have cats needing a new, loving home. The group also assist owners with the care of their animals in times of need, such as during a hospital stay, either by providing short-term fostering or care in the home if the owner is poorly. They also specialize in the retrieval of dead cats from the roadside, when they will attempt to locate the owners and provide a sympathetic contact.
